Yesterday, I posted a video on my YouTube channel introducing my subscribers to my personal blog here. Today, I’m posting on my personal blog to introduce my blog followers to my YouTube channel.
I’m not entirely sure where I want to go with my channel. I think my content will be similar to what I post here, a little bit of everything, except probably more fashion-geared or how-to videos. Mostly short and sweet because who wants to watch a really long YT video about…not much? In reality, probably a lot of people, but I don’t want to put out anything that I myself wouldn’t watch. We’ll see where it goes.
It’s actually kind of funny that I have a YouTube channel. I went to school for journalism, more specifically print journalism, but a lot of people suggested I do broadcast journalism because I am so “well-spoken.” The problem is that I have never been comfortable being in front of the camera. And look at me now — creating a YT channel. Who do I think I am, right? I’ve actually only done a few videos with my talking to the camera. I think it will take some time before I become more eloquent on screen, but I’m willing to put forth the effort.
